A material has identical properties in all direction,is said to be isotropic

homogeneous material- A material of uniform composition throughout that cannot be mechanically separated into different materials. Examples of “homogeneous materials” are certain types of plastics, ceramics, glass, metals, alloys, paper, board, resins, and coatings.

isotropic material means a material having identical values of a property in all directions. Glass and metals are examples of isotropic materials.

anisotropic material's properties such as Young's Modulus, change with direction along the object. Common examples of anisotropic materials are woodand composites.
